The objective of this assignment was explore vector art creation techniques within Adobe InDesign. I had to recreate the lines and imagery of the supplied UTA Trax map using the Line and Pen Tools ONLY. Other tools may be used to create miscellaneous design elements like background elements and text, but clear emphasis should be placed on the use of strokes for this assignment.

The objective of this assignment is to practice using Illustrator or Photoshop to create a mug design. I was introduced to die lines, layers, spot colors, and the pen tool in InDesign while creating a custom gift box. In addition, practiced using Type on a Path, creating CMYK swatches, and frame tools in InDesign.

The objective of this assignment is to practice making tables in Adobe InDesign by creating a 12-month calendar with 12 distinctly different tables/months. Each month should be constructed independently and be of varying sizes, colors, patterns, etc… The calendars was personalized by me to output and use.

Remember the earlier post I talked about the international night event? Im so excited to announce that ASUU, ISC and the  ISSS selected my art as the official International Night 2017 logo. As you can see, they are already spread out around the University of Utah. :)

Home signs

Last month I moved to a new place, so I created those signs to stick them on my door. The reason I created those is because I have had a bad experience few years ago when someone broke into my place and robbed my roommate's stuff. It was a traumatic experience. Hope those signs can at least prevent those burglars from trying to brake into my place again.

UofU International Ambassadors t-shirt

A T-shirt designed by me for the University of Utah, International Student Ambassadors. 
To design this t-shirt, I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Honestly, I'm so happy with the final result but I feel even happier to know that all my co-workers from the International Student & Scholar Services office liked the t-shirt as well as all the ambassadors. Task completed. :)
